Life/wellness/Recovery Coaching & Hypnotherapy

The following principles guide my approach to helping people through coaching/counseling and clinical hypnotherapy—by themselves or in combination—to move through and overcome their identified challenges, and achieve their goals:

• All experience has a particular structure. Change any aspect of that structure and the experience will change.

• Small pebbles can make large ripples.

• In terms of personal growth there is no “failure,” only information.

• “Mistakes” create essential opportunities to learn what doesn’t work.

• Trauma takes many forms and is more common than most people think.

• Recovery—and indeed life—is an ongoing process of learning, growth, and healing.

• Wholeness, health, and healing necessitate making peace with discomfort in all its forms—including the parts of ourselves we dislike.

• Everyone has the internal resources they need to overcome their psycho-social-spiritual challenges.

• The role of a helping professional is to assist people in identifying and building upon their strengths and resources, and guide the process of learning, growth, and healing.

• Sometimes you can find the light in the most unexpected places if you look at it right.
