I have 20 years of post-Master’s experience as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and clinical director in a wide range of behavioral health and addiction treatment settings, and over 10 years of experience ghostwriting and editing wellness-related books for the general public and professional community, as well as, developing & writing solution-oriented skills-building materials in the form of guidebooks, workbooks, and curricula for clinical purposes/treatment programs, and the recovery community.

I’ve been practicing meditation for 40 years (literally!) and have been learning and practicing various other forms of mindfulness for more than two decades. I have a deep commitment to solution-focused approaches that enhance the capacity of people to move toward health and wholeness by living more mindfully, with greater mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual balance.

My professional experience as an author, editor, coach, speaker, and consultant combines with my personal experience as a parent, partner, son, sibling, friend, avid hiker, and person in long-term recovery to bring my work to life with practical expertise and present-centered engagement.
